First Prize $5,000.00 - Based on 200 bird entry 

A 300 Mile Young Bird Futurity flown from Klamath Falls OR to Yakima WA

·         $100 per bird or 3 birds for $300. 

·         Limited to 200 Pigeons

·         Electronic Clocking - all birds in drop are equal winners.

·         Frequent Email Updates.  Be sure to include your address on the form.

·         No buy back for returning birds.  Birds may be returned  to breeder.  Breeder pays for return shipping.  Club retains ownership remaining birds.

·         Birds accepted 3/1/09 to 5/15/09.

·         Inventory taken on 6/1/09 to allow for back up birds until 7/1/09.

·         Birds will compete in club races, and be raced by loft manager on club race weekends.  Arrivals will be posted on website.

·         Progressive Pooling.

Progressive Pool

We will conduct a 5 spot progressive pool which will pay 5 to 1, as well as a stand alone $100 “winner take all” pool. You must fill the pool in progression.  For example to participate in the $20 pool you must also buy into the $5 and $10. We encourage you to pool at the time of entry.  We will not be sending pool reminders.  If you plan to attend the race you can pool at that time as well.  Club will retain 10% of total pool money.

I agree to allow the loft manager of the Apple Valley Classic to enter the birds listed above in Yakima Valley Racing Pigeon Club races on weekends leading up to the Classic.  These races serve as training and conditioning for the birds entered in the Classic.  The loft manager will claim all awards earned by these birds in these club races.
